(01)Overview
The project
Snowden Hair, formerly Snowden Hair, is an independent hair space at 45 Oswald Road in Scunthorpe. Founded by Bailey Snowden, it brings together precision haircuts, scissor work, beard care and hands-on barber education.
The website reflects this next chapter: a new identity and home, with clear routes into appointments and Snowden Academy.
(02)The challenge
What the business needed
Help existing clients recognise the business through its change from Snowden Hair to Snowden Hair, while introducing the new location and the people behind the chairs.
The site also needs to serve a second audience: people interested in learning or developing their barbering skills.
(03)Approach
How we approached it
Oversized typography, an olive-and-cream palette and real imagery give the website a confident, editorial character. Shop photography, team profiles and training images make the independent business the focus.
Appointments, services, the team and academy each have a clear route, so visitors can quickly choose what they came for.
(04)Solution
What we built
- A refreshed homepage introducing Snowden Hair and its Scunthorpe location.
- Service information covering haircuts, beard care, longer hair and restyles.
- Individual profiles for Bailey Snowden, Luca Simpson and Keegan Janney.
- Direct Booksy links for choosing a barber and booking an appointment.
- Snowden Academy pages for hands-on barber training.

Design & UX decisions
