WordPress maintenance and website support.

A website needs attention after launch. Software changes, content becomes dated and the business develops. A clear maintenance plan helps you understand what is being looked after and who is responsible when something needs attention.

Is this for you?

For businesses with a WordPress site, an online store or a website that needs dependable technical care alongside routine content updates.

Introduce software changes with a backup and testing plan.

  • Identify broken journeys and outdated information before they become a bigger problem.
  • Separate essential upkeep from larger development work so expectations stay clear.

What’s included.

The final scope is agreed around your business. These are the building blocks we discuss.

How we approach
website maintenance.

We review the site, hosting and dependencies before proposing support. Existing problems may need separate remediation. The plan then defines what is checked, how often and how requests are handled.

Maintenance should support the customer experience, not just produce a list of updated plugins. Forms, booking routes and store functions need practical checks too.

Planning the investment.

Site complexity, hosting arrangements, update frequency and support expectations determine the scope. Emergency cover and response targets are only included where explicitly agreed.

What happens next.

We review the arrangement as the website changes. Major features, redesigns and third-party incidents may require work outside routine maintenance.

We agree the schedule after discovery, with content, feedback and technical dependencies made clear before work begins.

Your website maintenance
questions, answered.

Can you maintain a website you did not build?

We can assess it first. Access, code quality, plugin licences and hosting arrangements need to be understood before we commit to a support scope.

Are backups enough on their own?

Backups need a recovery plan and appropriate checks. Where possible, restoration should be tested rather than assumed to work.

Is content editing included?

Only within the agreed scope. We can separate routine technical upkeep from copy, image and page changes.

Do you guarantee immediate emergency support?

Response arrangements must be agreed in the support plan. We do not publish a response promise that has not been confirmed.

Will updates ever affect the website?

Updates can introduce compatibility changes. Backups, staging and checks help manage that risk; no update process can remove every possibility of disruption.
